Goodrich St Francis Staff

Erica Burman

My Story:

I started working at Goodrich Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern in 2003 during my first year of pharmacy school. I became a pharmacist in 2007 and have been managing the St. Francis pharmacy since 2013 and I am now a partner in the corporation. It is exciting to be a pharmacist and a part of this community. I take great pride in our pharmacy and I love having the opportunity to spend time talking with patients and engaging in a variety of patient care activities. I also have the opportunity to teach the next generation of pharmacists as a pharmacy preceptor for the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy has become an integrated part of the healthcare team which collaborates with other providers to provide optimal care for our patients. There is no greater feeling than helping a patient optimize their health and achieve the best possible outcome.

Micah Byers

My name is Micah Byers. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to say that I love my job. My own health experiences as well as those of some people very near to me spurred my interest in medicine and sparked a desire to give back and care for others. I enjoy the study of pharmacology, but the main reason I pursued pharmacy as a career was to be a health care resource to my community. Through my own experience with health care I had found pharmacists to be knowledgeable, approachable and considerate. My goal as a pharmacist it to provide care for my patients in a way that empowers them to know they are making good health choices and receiving proper care for their illness. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three daughters. We enjoy the outdoors: camping, biking, swimming, and paddling during the warm months and sledding, ice skating, and snowman making in the winter.
